   It wasn’t until my boyfriend told me I snored and he was worried I wasn’t breathing well and getting enough oxygen, that I took my snoring seriously. I noticed pushing my jaw forward made it easier for me to breathe, but of course, couldn’t keep it there while sleeping. I remembered someone I new used this product and thought I’d give it a try. OMG!!! First night it was a game changer. I didn’t wake myself up and was not tired in the morning. I’m always tired, even if I sleep in. I’m tired all day. Now, I find I naturally wake up and have energy. I use the smallest one. It fits my mouth better. Obviously, it’s weird wearing a mouth guard at night. However, it really didn’t take me long to get used to it. I also love that it isn’t a solid piece. I am a mouth breather, and it allows my to continue, and my airway is open. So glad I made this purchase.

   I honestly think every person is different. I’ve tried molded mouth pieces, taping my mouth closed, harnesses, and nose plugs. Nothing worked. As a last ditch effort, I tried MuteSnore. Using mouthpiece #1, I experienced a slight gag reflex, but it wasn’t enough to give up. After softening it up, the slight reflex went away. I used it while awake for an hour or two for a few days until it was comfortable. When I finally used it for a night, it didn’t bother me at all. My mouth stayed closed and I registered a SnoreLab Report of 4. The next night, a 1. I feel like I finally found a product that will allow my wife the rest she needs and still allows us to feel married. The mouthpiece for me suctions to my teeth and generates a lot of saliva, but I was able to take a drink of cold water and it became comfortable enough to sleep. Very grateful this worked.

   Hate the price, love the results. I used this to stop snoring and it worked. I was later diagnosed with sleep apnea and put on a cpap machine. I stopped using my mouthpiece and would wake up feeling terrible ( headache, tired) so I added the mouthpiece back and I sleep like a dream. And still no snoring!!! It takes a while to get used to but with perseverance it pays off. It really works!!! It does shift your teeth a bit but to me, it’s worth it.

   Nurse 20 years. I never write reviews. I am about MuteSnore. I'm in the process of waiting on my second sleep study and approval for an implanted device. ( I do not think I will be approved because of MuteSnore- good thing) I've been so miserable with obstructive sleep apnea. I seriously have been afraid of dying in my sleep. My boys have been worried sick. Which made me worried sick. I was sleeping 4 hours on an average a night. I put on 25 lbs. during covid. Sleep apnea worsened of course. Chronic Bruix headaches, broken capillaries in my cheeks, asthma worsened, neck pain, extreme fatigue, memory issues, depression worsened and hard to function period. I researched the top MAD's. I bought MuteSnore. FIRST NIGHT- NO snoring, NO headache, slept 7 hours. SECOND NIGHT - same. I will continue to FINALLY LIVE LIFE. Thank you.

   I gained weight and started snoring, but didn’t know it was like a freight train until I fell asleep during a movie at my mother’s house. I am to go on a girl’s weekend and tried desperately to get out of it without any luck. I needed something fast. I heard about an app called SnoreLab. OMG, freight train indeed. So I needed a fast remedy. I hopped on and started to research over the counter possibilities. Nasal strips didn’t help since I was overweight and didn’t have a cold. I needed a mouth appliance. I always go by reviews and MuteSnore had everything I wanted, 5 star reviews, soft material, didn’t have to boil to adjust. As you can see according to SnoreLab, the first 2 recordings my snoring reach Epic sounds and the third is using MuteSnore appliance for the first time! I took out the appliance at 3am just to see if the snoring would return and of course it did. It is soft, flexible and yes will take more than one night to adjust to, but the difference was amazing.

   About a week in and I am sleeping through the night now. I used to wake up with dry mouth and throat several times a night but don’t anymore. Before buying it I did a simple test while laying in bed I simply moved my lower jaw forward and instantly noticed easier breathing, try it and see. This convinced me to order it. It’s uncomfortable no doubt but not intolerable for me and yes my jaw was slightly sore and my teeth a little out of whack (I am using the smaller mouthpiece in the two pack) but they feel fine shortly after waking. I’m happy to trade a little discomfort for a solid nights sleep. It’s pricey too but less expensive than a c-pap and waaay easier to use and travel with. It’s stiff plastic so should last a long time for me. I’m happy with it hope you will be too.

   I’ve tried tons of snoring solutions and this has been the one I’ve stuck with. I’ve found that jaw advancing mouth guards are the solution that suppress snoring the best. But most of them are awful, painful, huge, annoying, smelly. This guard is the best option of an unfortunate solution. This guard is expensive, for what it does and for the amount of material used. However, it’s a USA product so I can overlook the high cost. It’s a good thing that this guard uses the least amount of material of all the guards I’ve used. It feels better in the mouth, and is less annoying. The hinge feature is key too - I believe it helps prevent jaw pain, which is a huge problem with other guards. It also allows easier breathing and slightly better speaking, although it’s still kind of pointless to try to talk with it in (if you’re in bed with a partner). I usually have to suck my lower lip for a while to get realignment - but other guards would mess me up so bad that it would be hours before my teeth realigned. So the 2mm advancement of this guard is enough to curb my snoring but not destroy my jaw muscles. These types of guards also jack up the teeth. They rely on leveraging your jaw forward by pushing your bottom teeth forward and your top teeth backward. If there’s a risk of permanently jacking up the angles/structure of your teeth, it’s a risk I’m taking because the benefit is me not snoring at night. These types of guards make my underbite worse, unfortunately. But my dentist hasn’t said anything yet. I don’t understand why these companies don’t redesign their mouth guards to use your back teeth as anchors/leverage points, and remove the front sections that push your teeth all around. So maybe a half star taken off for that lack of forethought in the design. The biggest thing about this guard that pisses me off is that where it’s seemingly cut out of the mold, the edges are super sharp. Not enough to cut your mouth, but enough to ruin my tongue. It’s another downside I’ve just decided to live with. The sharp edge happens to be on the inside of this guard, all along the front edge of the gum line, top and bottom. So all night long, my tongue moves across this rough surface thousands of times, rubbing the tissue and taste buds raw all over the tip of my tongue. I now can’t taste anything on the tip of my tongue because I’ve used the guard for several months. Whenever I get the chance, when I’m sleeping along, I don’t wear the thing, in hopes that my tongue will heal. But that’s a rare instance so I’ve kind of given up on that hope. To the company - this is an embarrassingly obvious oversight that should be fixed, because it would be so easy and might be causing damage to others. In the meantime I keep meaning to try my own fix, so I’ll maybe have an update if I ever get around to it.

   Holy smokes this thing works! Snoring has always been a source of embarrassment for me even though I know it’s not my fault and that I didn’t do anything wrong to bring it on. But I have always been very self conscience of my snoring. I went to a dr years ago about it and was told that the base of my tongue is large and that’s the reason I snore. That basically I was born to snore that’s it’s in my anatomy. Never had heard that before but I understood it upon further research. The cons....it takes a minute to get used too. My jaw has been sore and I have had to trim it so that the top didn’t cut into my gums so much. There is some drooling but I believe only when taking it out in the morning. I’m not aware of any drooling while I sleep. The Pros...it does work! Oh and the 1st one worked for me I didn’t have to try the 2nd option. My bf says that I don’t snore anymore that he barely knows I’m in the bed lol. It is worth the price!

   This is my second purchase of the MuteSnore. The first one was well used and chewed by the dog! I snore like a train and the MuteSnore is how I get a good nights sleep. When I forget to wear the MuteSnore I am totally exhausted from interrupted sleep. Thank you MuteSnore from myself and from my family!!

   Started looking for a snoring aid after a particularly bad night for my wife. I had no idea if any of these snoring aids actually work, but thought I would give one a try. There are many snoring aids to choose from, so why I selected this one I have no idea. That said and according to my wife, this product worked from night one. My wife says I still have some snoring, but it's very soft. The wife can even tell if I forgot to put the MuteSnore in for the night and will wake me to use it. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is some minor jaw discomfort in the morning, when I take the MuteSnore out, but it goes away after a few minutes. The product comes with two "sizes", 2mm and 6mm. Luckily, the 2mm worked for me, so I don't know if the 6mm would cause too much discomfort. All I can say is that, if you have a snoring problem, this product worked for me and maybe it will work for you too.

   So...I snore a bit, and because I'm a nice person and want my partner to get his beauty sleep at night, I started researching Mandibular Advancement Devices. Let's get one thing straight right now...they all suck. A MAD device is typically uncomfortable for the first 2 weeks, and ultimately, having to use one is the worst. HOWEVER! They WORK. I have tried the cheap ones, my advice is: love yourself more than that. I have tried the expensive ones. my advice: they work but are spendy. I had a lot of success with the Zyppha mouth piece, except it's expensive as heck and falls apart pretty quickly. You have to take an impression of your teeth, and I found it made my teeth ache badly, even after the 2 week adjustment period. Also, I would pop my teeth out in the night and grind them on the hard plastic rims...yikes. This mouth piece, however, is WORLDS better. It's a much softer plastic, but it holds up, so I can grind my teeth and not worry about damage to my teeth or the mouth piece. S...More

That's my takeaway from the boil and bite, so going in to MuteSnore i was hoping to resolve those three issues. MuteSnore is good but not great. It serves the primary mission of positioning your jaw AND it fixes the issues I found with the 'boil-and-bite' mouthpieces. Its less substantial than the others and much softer than expected, I VERY much appreciated the ability to open my mouth, swallow, and yes even take a drink of water (though that was a lot like being numb at the dentist). I give it four stars because indeed it meets the objective of re-positioning your jaw while allowing you some flexibility. Unfortunately I've lost the good features i enjoyed with the boil-and-bite option. The reason it doesn't get the sought after fifth star is comfort. Yes, its better than i thought i would be from the pictures, but it still is not comfortable. It seeks to accommodate many different mouth/teeth sizes so the track is wider than it needs to be an will poke at your gums, possibly your cheeks, or in my case annoy the heck out of my tongue. Also, its a perfect arch and it really is trying to force the arch of your teeth to match its perfect form which is also uncomfortable. What you gain in convenience you lose in comfort which really is a shame. I'm very hopeful that there's a MuteSnore 2.0 or some other provider figures out that comfort, flexibility, and function are not diametrically opposed features, you can have them all and why not? Why do we have to choose between comfort OR breathing & swallowing comfortably? If you are deciding on this vs. boil-and-bite i'd say the decision really comes down to your own preference: 1) If you REALLY need to open and close your mouth, swallow, and breath through your mouth at times (too avoid that claustrophobic feeling) then MuteSnore 'could' work, but the reviews pointing out the jaw discomfort are real and the device will poke at your mouth in uncomfortable ways. Over time you will likely build up a tolerance but only time and your level of patience can determine that. 2) Alternatively, if you don't care about swallowing or mouth breathing (no claustrophobia) and prefer a more comfortable fit, i'd suggest trying the boil-and-bite options and in all sincerity after trying several, there is minimal difference. Find the cheaper $7-$10 model that has a good review around material softness. In the meantime - calling all mouthpiece makers - please find a way to marry the concept of a hinged mouthpiece and add in the softer boil-and-bite material without making it as big as an apple. I think MuteSnore really is the closest if they can find a way to bifurcate the harder plastic hinge with the softer rubber (molded) fit. Why can't we have a mouthpiece that's "just right"?

   I was consistently scoring between 50 and 79 on SnoreLab app. I woke myself up at night, and almost always had a headache in the morning. I found my poor husband sleeping in the recliner most mornings. The chin strap didn't help at all. The throat sprays and tablets didn't help at all. The tongue restraining device didn't help at all, but it hurt like hell until it fell off (usually about 30-90 seconds - forget sleeping with it). The nose strips helped a little but I kept waking up feeling like I couldn't breathe. Ditto the vented tape that goes across your mouth while you sleep. I waffled between the MuteSnore and a similar mouthpiece; finally decided to try the Comfort Size 1 MuteSnore. I have been using it for 2 weeks. My SnoreLab score is between 2 and 6 every night.    I'm in my mid 40's, a regular consumer of alcohol, about 30 lbs. overweight, and my family swears I snore like a bear. I finally recorded myself and was quite surprised. In an effort to stop snoring I've had by uvula removed, had balloon sinuplasty surgery, and STILL no improvement. My snoring Dr. referred me to a special dentist, who wanted to charge me $2,700 ($3,00 with a payment plan) for a custom fit dental appliance. Now, I admit that I'm sure that this dental appliance would likely have been effective, but I could not afford the cost. I've since tried a $30 boil and bite off of that I ended up sending back as it was nothing much more than a mouthpiece that you could be a local sports store. Anyhow, this product was referred to me by an old friend who had success with this product. I tired it, and sure enough it works as advertised. I have to be honest, it is not the most comfortable thing in the wold and does take some getting used to, but it does stop the snoring.

   I wanted to wait a few weeks before leaving a review. I have spent the last 18 months with extreme fatigue and exhaustion. Regardless if I slept 5 hours or 12. Doctor diagnosed me with sleep apnea, which ironically I think was caused by my orthodontic work I had recently completed with the symptoms began. I refuse to use a CPAP. I couldn’t shell out $4000 for a MAD from my dentist right now. Then I found this. For $80 and a 30 day guarantee I figured I had nothing to lose. I couldn’t continue living the way I was. I had to do something. I started with the “1” things seemed to be a little better. Decided to try the “2”, I actually wake up feeling rested and normal. I am not constantly yawning all day. I feel alert. It’s amazing!! What I really like about these is that they do not form to your teeth.    I snore like a chainsaw. I tried a tongue retaining device first. That worked fine – unless it fell out – but I found it awkward and uncomfortable. So I tried a chin strap. That didn't work at all for me - it just exaggerated my overbite and forced my jaw further back. Third time's a charm. I've been using MuteSnore for about a week now and it worked immediately. With Size A, my snoring is now a little heavy breathing at worst. My jaw was a bit sore the first couple of mornings, but is fine now. My bottom teeth are a bit sore in the morning from the pressure of being held forward, but I'm getting used to it. That discomfort is better than the sore throat from hours of snoring. The rest of the house can get some sleep too, so no more middle of the night shoves to shut me up. The pictures are screenshots from my SnoreLab app - that pretty much sums it up.

   After more than 35 years of living with a wonderful man who snores like crazy, I have found the solution! This product works great- he doesn't snore anymore! We could not be more excited- this is life changing! 2/11/2022 update - We still love this product, but did find that it needed to be replaced after maybe a year of use. As it gets older, it allows a bit of snoring and apnea - but buying a new one solves the problem. Wish it were less expensive, but it is worth it.

   I was a little skeptical of this device after reading reviews for this one and other similar items. The price is a little steep for what you get, but this is one of the lower priced brands. (Except cheap knock-offs which could have any number of safety hazards or chemicals.) I chose this brand in part because it seemed to be the most flexible, and had the most room for breathing. Being a bit of a cheapskate, I didn't want to order the full starter pack, so just tried the #1 size to see if it was even going to work. I have been using this for a little over a week, and have pleasantly surprised how well it is actually working. My husband says I have not snored since I started using it, which is a huge improvement, because I used to snore so loudly, I would keep him awake. It does make my teeth a little sore first thing after I remove it, because of the pressure on them all night, but that goes away pretty quickly. It is not unbearable by any means. By ordering the refill pack, I didn't get a storage case, but I can live with that for the lower price. Overall, I would say to give it a try if snoring is a problem in your life. I'm glad it did. Now, if I could only get the dog to quit waking me up, I'd be sleeping peacefully all night...

   I've been told by my wife I snored. Knowing that snoring loudness comings in varying degrees I always assumed I was on the quieter end. After looking and different products on YouTube I decided to give MuteSnore a try. The next morning after using the mouthpiece my wife said she noticed a big difference. Being an Engineer I was curious if I could quantify how well it worked. I downloaded SnoreLab for my android device to record my snoring and get a measurement of my snoring level. To rule any other noises I stayed in the guest room for 2 nights. The first night I slept WITHOUT with mouthpiece, the second night I slept WITH the mouthpiece. According to the SnoreLab results there was a dramatic difference in my snoring levels. Other than some initial tooth pain and lite drooling (both of witch are no longer issues), I would say this product is working well for me/us.

   I have moderate sleep apena and was told this wouldn't help and that I would need a device made by my doctors but I tried it anyway because I was going camping and couldn't bring my cpap. At first it did nothing except hurt my teeth and I kept spitting it out in my sleep. I got home and threw it in boiling water for a 69 seconds hoping it might mold to my mouth and be more comfortable like a sporting mouthguard. It didn't really mold to my teeth but it did end up remaining in a semi closed postion which was far more comfortable. After that it reduced my snoring to a point that people around me aren't kept awake. I would not use it as a long term solution as it did seem to push my teeth forward an it takes about 5 min each morning for my mouth to feel normal. I would reccomend it for mild snoring and possibly mild apnea like mine but only for short periods where you don't have access to a CPAP.

   I got a Mayo Clinic Newsletter article about sleep apnea and handed it to my partner, who is an outrageous snorer and has one or two seemingly near death loud choking incidents every night as well. He read the article and it recommended trying a device like this. He ordered this starter kit on and tried the smaller mouthpiece first. It resulted in softer, less dramatic snoring, but it was still loud enough to wake me up. The following night he tried the larger apparatus and WOW, problem SOLVED, after years of losing sleep and being on the verge of a break up or sleeping in a separate room. He says it is a bit uncomfortable and takes some getting used to and the plastic irritates his mouth in certain places (I think any protrusions on the device could be filed down with a dremel tool, or during a visit to the dentist), but he's happy that it is working. I also believe the way it changes the angle of his jaw prevents him from suffocating in his sleep and he gets better rest as well, wh...More
